Issue: When I inserted this one particular CF card with usb reader, it doesn't pop up on my mac. BUT it's still viewable on camera LCD. It has excellent flash power (maximum guide number of 141 ft./43m at ISO 100), and is the perfect way to get great flash pictures when you can't get right up to the subject.

I've got the same problem with my Dell Inspiron N7110, Win7. Free xps reader for mac. Reader worked fine in the morning, stoped in the afternoon. Bought a new reader. Try both readers, various cards on an old XP machine - perfect. Can't find any issues with the usb ports.
